Tiger & Bunny is for people who are fans of the underdog or like to watch superhero movies. It's pretty light-hearted during the first half, as it mainly focuses on the partnership between the two titular characters. The second half deals with a dilemma Tiger goes through and how that affects him and the people he cares about, while also facing down the ultimate villain of the series. It's honestly one of my favorite animes watch whenever I'm feeling down or if iI just want to see the characters again.
Meet Kotetsu T. Kaburagi, or as he's better known, the veteran hero called 'Wild Tiger'. In the city of Sternbild, there's a whole cast of heroes who fight villains on a network called Hero TV. Yup, that's right, crime fighting is considered a marketable concept. But not everyone can be a hero, you have to have these special powers that make you what is called a NEXT. When the company Kotetsu works for gets bought out, he gets roped into being part of the first ever Hero Duo.
Now meet Barnaby Brooks Jr., a young hero that happens to be the only hero that goes by his name instead of a secret identity. Plagued by a dark past, he fights to find the one who killed his parents. He's the serious and intelligent side to Kotetsu's bumbling, optimistic nature.
Oh, did I mention they have the same power? 100 power, as it's called, is an ability that gives the person 100 times the speed and strength of a normal person. The downside to this is that it only lasts for five minutes.
Kotetsu and Barnaby are great characters and super fun to watch. Along with them, there's 6 other heroes that join them in the quest for good.

The above picture shows the heroes out of their costumes. From left to right: Keth (Sky High), Karina (Blue Rose), Antonio (Rock Bison), Kotetsu, Barnaby, Pao Lin (Dragon Kid), Nathan (Fire Emblem), and Ivan (Origami Cyclone). Each of the heroes gets an episode dedicated to them and dedicated to developing their character and their relationships with Kotetsu and Barnaby.
The first opening is called Orion wo Nazoru by Unison Square Garden. It's easily one of my personal favorite openings ever. I'm not sure if it's the upbeat tone or the vocals, but I love it.
The other song I'd like to mention in this review is the second ending. It's Mind Game by Tamaki. No to say that the other opening and ending aren't good, I just thought I'd showcase the 2 I like the most.
I've rewatched Tiger & Bunny at least 3 times. But the reason I gave it a 3.5/5 is because most people will be satisfied with watching it just once. I happened to have loved it enough to want to see it again, but my father (an avid anime fan) was content to only watch it one time. It really depends on whether or not you get really invested in the characters.
I know I keep saying this, but Tiger & Bunny is one of my top 5 favorite animes ever. The plot is fun to watch, the characters are amusing, the music os fantastic, and like I said, I've watched it at least 3 or 4 times (if I had to make a real guess, I'd bank on about 7 times).
Anime Gal, signing off!
